Shortcut - Create
Creates a shortcut.

Optionally, you may add comments here describing the purpose of this element.
Target Shortcut
Specify the path and name for the shortcut being created.
Shortcut Folder
Specify a directory where a shortcut will be created.
PROGRAM GROUP - Application folder in Start->Programs for the current user.
DESKTOP - Desktop for the current user.
STARTUP - Startup folder for the current user.
COMMON PROGRAM GROUP - Application folder in Start->Programs for all users.
COMMON DESKTOP - Desktop for all users.
COMMON STARTUP - Startup folder for all users.
QUICK LAUNCH - Quick Launch folder.
FROM START MENU DIALOG - Specify this item if you use Dialog - Start Menu Folder.
CUSTOM PATH - When choosing this item in the Shortcut name field, you should also specify its full path. See Default macros.

Target File
Destination Folder
Directory containing a file to which a shortcut is created.
APPLICATION DATA PATH - Program subfolder in Application Data folder.
CDROM PATH - CD or DVD drive.
CUSTOM PATH - The path must be defined in the filename control.
INSTALL PATH - Default installation path.
SETUP FILE PATH - The path to where setup executable file is running.
SYSTEM PATH - Windows system directory.
TEMPORARY PATH - The temporary folder of the installation #tempinstpath#. It is a subfolder genteeXX in the default temporary user's folder #temppath#.
WINDOWS PATH - Windows directory.
Filename
Name of the file being launched. If the directory is specified as CUSTOM PATH, the full path should be specified.
Command Line Parameters
Specify the command line parameters here.
Comment
You may specify a comment for this shortcut.
Icon file
If a shortcut must use another icon from a different file, enter the icon name here. You can specify the full path to an icon file or only the icon file name. If you have specified an icon file containing more than one image, specify a desired icon's index by comma.

Working Directory
Working directory for a launched process.
APPLICATION DATA PATH - Program subfolder in Application Data folder.

DEFAULT PATH - The current directory.
INSTALL PATH - Default installation path.
SETUP FILE PATH - The path to where setup executable file is running.
SYSTEM PATH - Windows system directory.
TEMPORARY PATH - The temporary directory of the installation #tempinstpath#. It is a subfolder genteeXX in the default temporary user's folder #temppath#.

Custom Path
If you use a CUSTOM PATH, the specific directory must be specified here.
Run as
Application state on startup.
Hide - Application window will be hidden.
Normal - Default application state.
Maximize - Application window will be maximized.
Minimize - Application window will be minimized .
Run As Administrator
Check this box if you want the program connected with the given shortcut to load with administrator rights. This option works only on Windows Vista and higher.
If Condition
You can specify a condition that should be met for the action to be performed. If the condition is false then the command is skipped. See How to use If Condition for more details.
